My boyfriend was returning home from mother’s house after Christmas, and the small airport was closed due to snow and low visibility. The airline planned to bus the passengers to the big airport which was 3 hours away, where he would have to take a later flight home due to missing his connection. This had happened to him many times before. Once the bus reached the summit of the mountain pass, the highway department closed the road. The passengers slept in the bus overnight, and the driver would occasionally turn on the engine to run the heater. Early the next morning, the pass was clear and they proceeded to the airport after stopping at a fast-food restaurant for breakfast.
